Business Program Objectives
Upon completing their undergraduate degree program, students will demonstrate:
- an understanding of the theories and principles of business;
- an understanding of the functional areas of business and their interrelationships with organizations;
- the ability to reflect upon and clarify personal and professional values systems, applying biblical and ethical principles to organizational decision-making;
- effective critical thinking skills;
- the ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and logically through effective oral and written communication skills;
- participation in service, mission and/or multi-cultural activities
Note: All prerequisites for Business Department courses require a grade of "C-" or better. The general education requirements for all business majors include the following prescribed courses: Introduction to Statistics, Organizational Behavior, International Business Operations, and Contemporary Concerns: Accounting Ethics or Business Ethics.
