PHI-3043 Modern Philosophy

A study of major philosophical developments from Descartes to Kant. Special emphasis is given to the Continental Rationalists (Descartes, Spinoza and Leibnitz) and the British Empiricists (Locke, Berkeley and Hume) as they culminate in the philosophy of Reid and Kant.
