EGR-1014 Introduction to Engineering

A broad overview of the engineering profession and design process, together with project management and interdisciplinary teams, via a semester-long design project. Covers the place of engineering in society, ethics, the importance of mathematics and communication, and the basics of safe tool usage and manufacturing. Includes lab experience. Suitable for undecided and non-engineering students.
