SWKR-6173 Foundation Practicum 2

As the second course of the practicum experience, this course will give students first-hand exposure to the social work field. Students will engage in a supervised practicum experience in an agency that aligns with their career interests and goals. Taken concurrently with SWKR 6011 (Foundation Seminar 2), this course will require students to obtain 100 clock hours of practicum experience over the course, for an average of 15 hours a week in field. This experience will require students to apply the knowledge, skills, values, and ethics of generalist social work practice to their practicum setting. Pre-requisites: Admission to field, SWKR-6163. Co-requisite: SWKR-6011.
