BIO-3134 Aquatic Ecology with Laboratory

A study of marine and freshwater environments, the organisms that comprise them, and the impact of human culture and activity on aquatic organisms and aquatic systems. Special emphasis is given to the natural history of aquatic organisms and historical and contemporary problems related to pollution and exploitation of aquatic resources. Laboratories include indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, and an aquatic macroinvertebrate collection.
