Music Education, B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts in Music Education is a program leading to eligibility for licensure for teaching music, pre-K-12, in Ohio, and meets the requirements of the Ohio Department of Higher Education and Ohio Department of Education for entry level licensure. Licensure for Music in Ohio is for all levels and specializations (general music, vocal/choral, and instrumental).

Note: Candidates who wish to teach in adolescent to young adult education, in multi-age education, or in career-technical settings must complete general education and professional education courses which are listed in the Jetter School of Professional Studies section of this catalog.
