Emergency Management and Homeland Security Program Objectives
The courses and curriculum of the Emergency Management and Homeland Security program are designed to achieve the following student outcomes:
- Knowledge Base: Cultivate the knowledge and skills to plan for, respond to, recover from, and mitigate against an emergency or crisis.
- Inquiry and Critical Thinking: Appraise and assess the elements of emergency management and homeland security theories, strategies, and concepts through a simulated or practical situation.
