CSS-2011 Career and Professional Development
The course will address practical preparations that develop employable qualities and build relevant experience in job candidates. Students will learn to utilize methods and practices necessary to prepare for and seek out suitable employment in their fields of interest. Topics include developmental activities, professional communication, networking, securing internships, researching industries and employers, developing interviewing skills, writing resumes and cover letters, and learning effective job search methods.
