HON-1033 Honors Innovative Problem Solving
The course will: 1) consider the potential positives and negatives of innovation and progress, including our aims and motivations; 2) introduce Human-Centered Design (HCD) practices, including Creative Problem-Solving Techniques (CPS), Design Thinking Tools (DT), and UX/UI processes that are useful across disciplines; and 3) provide an opportunity for students to apply these techniques in real world case studies related to disciplinary questions, potential career-based issues, or on-campus problems.
Prerequisite
Admission to the Honors Program or permission from the Honors Program Director.
