MAN-4073 Business Law

An introduction to commercial law based on the U.S. Constitution, common law, statutory law, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Special emphasis is given to legal aspects of common business transactions including contract law, torts, business crime, intellectual property, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Government regulation of businesses and specific legal aspects of consumer protection, commercial paper, agency, employment, creditor's rights, antitrust, investor protection, corporations, partnerships, and estates are also introduced.
