Management, B.S.

In addition to the Business Program Objectives, Management students will demonstrate an understanding of the basic functions of management (planning, organizing, influencing, and controlling) within the framework of ethical behavior and Christian beliefs and practices.

Students with an Entrepreneurship Concentration will learn how to craft an effective business plan for a start-up company, and understand the means by which entrepreneurial ventures are financed.

Students with a Nonprofit Management Concentration will understand the unique structure and function of nonprofit organizations and acquire the ability to apply the various disciplines of business to these nonprofit organizations.

Students earning a Bachelor of Science in Management must complete the required General Education Core, the required business core, and required major area courses. A concentration in Entrepreneurship or Nonprofit Management is required; other business concentrations, a minor, or a double-major may be substituted with departmental approval. No minor or second major is required. A minimum of 120 credit hours are required for the degree.
