Secondary Education, B.A.
Candidates who wish to teach in secondary education content fields must pursue a major in the academic content area and declare the Secondary Education co-major. The Secondary Education co-major can only be declared if the student has a primary major in one of the following areas:
- Biology (Life Science Education concentration), B.S. (leads to Life Science licensure in grades 7-12)
- English, B.A. (leads to Integrated Language Arts licensure in grades 7-12)
- History (Social Studies concentration), B.A. (leads to Integrated Social Studies licensure in grades 7-12)
- Mathematics (Secondary Education concentration), B.S. (leads to Integrated Mathematics licensure in grades 7-12)
